Trouble Brewing In The East

We maintain our view that the security situation in the eastern parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will remain highly unstable during the remainder of 2008. In particular, a potential breakdown of the war crime trials against several Congolese militia leaders at the International Criminal Court (ICC) could lead to further violence over the course of H208.
