Economic Ratings Underscore Weak Outlook
July 2008 | Economic AnalysisGabon's economy has historically been very stable, reflected in its regionally high structural economic risk rating, but going forward risks are materialising. While Gabon's short-term economic risk rating is regionally high, its short-term risk rating is lower than the other oil exporting countries in the region, indicating a failure to capitalise on high oil and commodity prices.
