Inflationary pressures seem to be easing slightly in Tunisia, with growth in the consumer price index (CPI) dropping to 4.9% y-o-y in June, down from a high of 6.0% in April. We are forecasting a year-end rate of 5.0%, dropping to 3.0% in 2009 as energy prices fall back towards US$100.00/bbl.
