Kuwait continues to cement its relationships with key allies: Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammad al-Ahmad al-Sabah is in the US at the moment to meet with President George W Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, among others. The premier was unequivocal in his comments on landing in Washington, speaking of the 'solid relations' between the two countries and adding, 'We highly appreciate this (support) and we cannot forget the US position in supporting the people of Kuwait'.
