No Return To Orthodox Monetary Policy Soon

Iran's battle against inflation has taken a knock with the news that Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Governor Tahmasb Mazaheri was dismissed on Saturday (September 20) by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. In recent months Mazaheri has refused to follow Ahmadinejad's instructions to cut interest rates.
