The Central Bank of Iran recently released the central government's approved budget for this year. It allows for a considerable fiscal deficit, which we forecast to come in at 5.8% of GDP in 2008. We expect the 2009 deficit to grow to 10.7% of GDP in 2009 due to an increase in fiscal spending in the lead up to June's presidential
