The Central Bank of Nigeria recently released its updated Q208 growth figures for Nigeria, with growth revised up slightly from 6.6% y-o-y to 6.7% y-o-y. This follows 5.5% growth in Q108 and is in line with our own forecast for 2008 real GDP growth of 7.0%, given that we see growth picking up in Q308 and Q408 on the back of increased government expenditure.
