Human rights groups have welcomed the decision by a Moroccan appeal court to dismiss the jail sentence and fine imposed on a blogger deemed to have insulted King Mohammed IV. Mohammed Erraji was arrested on September 5 and quickly sentenced to a two-year prison sentence and a MAD5,000 fine. On September 16, the case was dismissed by the Agadir Court of Appeal.
