September 2008 | Ratings UpdateMorocco's trade deficit deepened in July to US$2.099bn, up 44.2% y-o-y, on the back of soaring energy import costs. With oil prices now well down from their July peak, we expect the deficit to ease slightly during the rest of the year, and have pencilled in a full-year figure of MAD142.2bn (US$17.7bn).
