Lebanon may have a government, but it remains unable to agree on anything, and the opposition are now threatening to throw the country into paralysis again, by boycotting the cabinet. The move comes as Prime Minister Fouad Siniora declined to accede to the demands of Free Patriotic Movement member and Deputy Prime Minister Issam Abu Jamra for further powers. Abu Jamra wants the deputy premier to head Cabinet meetings when the prime minister is away and to exercise his powers at the Grand Serail.
