The opening of new Iranian naval facilities at Jask to the east of the Strait of Hormuz will ensure that regional tensions remain elevated for the foreseeable future as rumours of a military strike by the US and/or Israel on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities refuse to entirely die down.
