BMI View: We have downgraded our forecasts for real GDP growth on the back of the global financial crisis and sharp moderation in oil prices. We now see the economy expanding at 12.2% in 2008 and 10.6% in 2009, down from previous estimates of 12.4% and 13.4% respectively.
