Oil Sector Will Drive External Outlook
October 2008 | Economic AnalysisWe expect Iraq to record healthy current account surpluses over the coming years. That said, almost all of Iraq's export revenues come from sales of crude oil and so in the event of a price collapse to US$50/bbl next year, the current account will fall into deficit.
