Opposition Ructions Turn Violent

Egypt's opposition al-Ghad party has seen its offices stormed and set on fire today, as supporters of the jailed former leader Ayman Nour clashed with those of his successor, Mousa Mostafa. Reports of exactly how the troubles began are unclear, but the Muslim Brotherhood's online news service says that 'an anti-Ayman Nour wing led by Mousa Mostafa stormed into the party headquarters under protection of security forces, and threw Molotov cocktail and stones on the party headquarters setting it ablaze'. Those loyal to Nour, who was jailed in 2005 for fraud, say that Mostafa is too close to the government.
