November 2008 | Ratings UpdateRioting and fighting has spread from southern Libya to the second city of Benghazi, and has so far left 11 people dead, according to reports in London-based Al-Sharq al-Awsat. The newspaper claimed that fighting had initially broken out between the Tabu tribe and local security forces in an oasis town near Kufrah, in south-eastern Libya.
