March 2009 | Ratings UpdateAs part of a three-nation Africa trip in March, French President Nicolas Sarkozy visited the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to hold close talks with Head of State, Joseph Kabila, and various business groups. On the political front, Sarkozy called for new momentum to end the civil strive and human rights abuses in the Eastern Kivu province.
