Green Shoots For The Property Market?

A report in local newspaper the Peninsula on May 26 stated that Qatari banks have restarted disbursing mortgage loans. While this development will no doubt be welcomed by local real estate developers, especially considering that property prices having fallen by up to 30% (or more) over the past six months, we nevertheless do not expect to see a major increase in bank lending over the coming months.
