We are maintaining our exchange rate forecasts for Algeria, which anticipate a year-end rate of DZD71.00/US$. The dinar was trading at DZD72.52/US$ at the time of writing, and has remained fairly stable in recent months. An anticipated rise in oil prices in the second half of the year could lead to some increased currency strength, hence our expectation of some appreciation over H209.
