A ruling by a Moroccan administrative court that the election of Marrakech mayor Fatima Zahra Mansouri should be declared null and void has caused controversy in the city. After a probe, the court concluded that the result of the June local election was rigged as ballots were distributed before the legal date and some vote records were destroyed.
