Unemployment Will Head Higher

Unemployment will continue to rise in Q409 and into 2010, but we do not see rising joblessness impacting overall social stability. Over the longer-term, however, Jordan's high youth unemployment rate and a business environment that has major shortcomings when it comes to creating jobs is more of a concern.
