Inflation To Remain High, But Not Out Of Control In 2010

Headline inflation in Tanzania came in at 12.1% y-o-y in September. This figure remained unchanged from August and although we foresee both food and non-food prices continuing to grow in m-o-m terms, we see year-on-year inflation moving to 9.9% by the end of 2009, implying an average of 11.9% for the year.
