Macroeconomic Forecast Namibia

Although the outlook for the Sub Saharan region continues to improve, we maintain our view that Namibia will experience an economic contraction of 2.2% in 2009 as result of a sharp downturn in the mining sector. Looking ahead to 2010, we the economy bouncing back to grow of 3.4%.
