Preparations For Removal Of Reserve Bank Governor?
November 2009 | Ratings UpdateCentral Bank governor, Dr Gideon Gono, has been assigned a senior position within Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF party. The move follows immunity from prosecution extended to all reserve bank employees "for anything done in good faith and without negligence" by a Reserve Bank amendment act which was passed by parliament in November 2009.
