Inflation To Remain High, But Not Out Of Control In 2010

After a brief period of anticipated disinflation in the early part of 2010, on the back of stabilising food prices, we expect headline price growth to return to elevated levels. This will be driven by an increase in the non-food component due to an expected higher average oil price in 2010 compared with that seen in 2009.
