Economy Firing Ahead

We have recently revised up Mozambique's real GDP forecasts for 2009 and 2010 on the back of a stronger-than-anticipated Q309 GDP figure. Although the headline number shows that the country posted a robust performance and has been insulated from the global economic fallout, it masks the some of weaknesses in the economy.
