External Demand Remains Weak But Growth Resilient

Tunisia continues to respond well to the challenge posed by external conditions, although real GDP growth will remain below trend in 2010. The government is banking on continued reform to boost competitiveness and attract investment, although we caution that current conditions may not be ideal for privatisations.
