However, the March arrest in Saudi Arabia of 101 militants accused of planning attacks on oil and security facilities there suggests that al-Qaeda's reach within Yemen runs deep. Indeed, 51 of those arrested were Yemeni, and the majority were captured in Jazan, a province close to Saudi Arabia's border with Yemen.
