BMI View: Saudi Arabia's balance of payments results were disappointing by the Kingdom's own standards. However, the picture was very solid by global standards, and in any case the decline will be swiftly reversed in 2010 and beyond. We do not expect the government to make any changes which would make its external profile more resistant to a drop in oil prices.
