Double-Digit Growth Ahead Despite Banking Sector Concerns

BMI View: The economic outlook for Ghana is bright, with real GDP growth set to jump into the double digits in 2011 when domestic oil production begins. However, we have made a slight downward adjustment to our forecast for growth in 2010, to 6.1% from 6.4% previously, owing to slight concerns over the banking sector.
