According to provisional figures from the Banque Centrale du Congo (BCC), the economy expanded by 2.06% q-o-q in Q110, marking the third consecutive quarter of sequential growth. Although the bank did not provide year on year figures, the outturn is broadly in line with our 2010 real GDP forecast of 5.1%. In keeping with our expectations, mining and hydrocarbons were the single most important drivers of growth, followed by manufacturing and then construction.
