A large reduction in receipts from the South African Customs Union over the next two years have forced us to reconsider our current account forecasts and to project sustained deficits in the 2010-2014 period. Our current projections foresee a current account deficit of 2.9% of GDP in 2010 and 3.3% in 2011. Thereafter, we expect growing demand for the country's uranium to lead to a narrowing of the deficit, with the five-year average forecast at -2.0% of -2.0% of GDP.
