Diamond Sale Go-Ahead

The Zimbabwean government has been given the go-ahead to resume sales of diamonds from its Marange fields following a meeting of the World Diamond Council in Moscow. An agreement between the country and the Kimberly Process (KP) - the body which is responsible for the certification of rough diamonds in a bid to stem the trade of conflict stones - will see the country's exports resumed from September under the supervision of the KP.
