According to the latest data from the Kuwaiti statistical authorities, Kuwaiti nationals only comprise 31.6% of the total population. While the influx of foreign workers has been essential for the workforce and economic growth of the country, a rising imbalance could bode ill for public sentiment and therefore poses some risk for internal social stability, although on the whole, we consider security issues within the country to be low.
