As we move towards the end of the year, the recovery is not particularly in evidence, in line with our view that the return to positive growth would be unspectacular. Banks in Kuwait remain very cautious, and financial market stagnation is constraining the private sector recovery. There are numerous challenges ahead, and although the global economic climate looked, at the time of writing, fairly supportive, there remains considerable uncertainty.
