Iran Crisis To Escalate: Key Implications For Kuwait

For now, the most significant threats emanate from abroad (namely Iran). The coming year or so will see increasing nervousness: we expect the economic and political crisis in the Islamic Republic to escalate, and sympathies within Kuwait to increase both in intensity and publicity. Kuwait's fears of an outright attack by Iran are probably unjustified, but its purchases of US anti-missile technology demonstrate how seriously it takes the possibility.
