Disputes between DP World and workers at its Algerian port of Djazair regarding pay and efforts to increase productivity have led to an unofficial strike. DP World has been trying to increase Djazair's productivity by changing shift patterns and installing advanced mobile harbor cranes; however, workers have expressed their discontent through very low levels of productivity, moving only a few containers per day.
