BMI View: Given our positive outlook on the economy and the cocoa industry, we believe that the country's current account deficit will be sustainable over our forecast period. In fact, despite a slight spike to 4.7% of GDP in 2008 (up from a projected 4.2% in 2007), we believe that the shortfall is likely to decline in the years ahead, with our 2009 and 2010 forecasts currently standing at 2.2% of GDP and 2.1%, respectively.
