In view of the government's successful efforts to diversify sources of FDI away from China, coupled with its plans to create more special economic zones and increase 'economic diplomacy', we have ticked up our 2009 real GDP growth forecast to 5.8% from 5.5%. Our 2008 forecast remains 6.0%.
