BMI View: We are fairly upbeat on Kenya's growth prospects over 2008-2017, forecasting annual real GDP growth of 4.6% by 2012 and 3.6% by 2017. Key supporting factors will be its broad-based economy, youthful population, and strategic location in the East African Community.
