BMI View: The opposition has withdrawn from the presidential run-off election, but the government is intent on holding the poll even though the region and wider world have said that any result will not be credible. We believe that a victory will keep President Mugabe in power only in the interim and sooner rather than later the collapsing economy will be the catalyst for change.
