In a sign of growing tensions over Western Sahara, Morocco has expelled a Swedish diplomat accused of passing on official documents to separatist groups within the disputed territory. According to Moroccan authorities, Anna Block-Mazoyer had committed 'a serious breach of diplomatic practice' by allowing documents handed to her during an official briefing to reach the Polisario Front, which is calling for a referendum on Sarhawi independence from Morocco.
